Tuna Curry Gulai Ikan Tongkol Terengganu - Mff Terengganu #2
Tuna is locally known equally ikan tongkol, ikan aya or ikan kayu, depending on which land you are inward.

Gulai ikan tongkol is normally eaten amongst nasi dagang, or the other style circular, whichever style, LOL.
It is different from Kelantan’sec version. From what I recall, Kelantan’s version is more xanthous, tasting slightly more “curry like” maybe due to its turmeric content. Whereas Terengganu’sec version is more than “assam”, as in sour.
Whenever I go to Kuala Terengganu, I will endeavor my best to take my Nasi Dagang make at Kak Pah’second located at Pantai Batu Burok. It was where I had my first Nasi Dagang. vii of us having breakfast amongst 21 plates on the table. 750gm-1kg tuna

*2 Tbsp coriander seeds
*i Tbsp fennel seeds
100gm shallots2 cloves garlic15gm dried chilli (15pcs)20gm galangal20gm ginger200ml kokosnoot milk (undiluted)Salt to gustation2-3 Tbsp palm saccharidefour carmine birds eye chilliiv green bird’sec eye chilli, lightly pat alongside side of cleaver100gm belimbi (belimbing buluh), halvedone. Slice tuna into ane inch thick pieces. Keep the caput. Rinse fish until water runs clear (no more bloody liquids)ii. Boil the water amongst asam gelugor together with lay inwards fish. Let it simmer for five minutes. Turn off the estrus.
