Vietnamese Claypot Caramelised Fish Cá Kho Tộ



I got to know almost this dish when I watched Masterchef United States of America back inward 2012. Christine Ha, a blind prepare of Vietnamese descent served this homey dish to the judges and won their hearts. Sounded delicious!

ii Tbsp oil or more
Fish sauce to gustatory modality

Caramel sauce
four Tbsp sugar (50g)
ii Tbsp H2O
1 loving cup coconut H2O (or merely H2O)

ane. Make caramel sauce: Put saccharide too H2O into a heavy based saucepan. Heat it on medium heat together with permit it make until it starts to dark-brown.
