Snakehead Fish Soup Alongside Sweet Corn Together With Huaishan 生鱼粟米淮山汤 - Fishy Fishy #2

Not that slithery snake!
It'second the type of fish with a caput that looks like snake. Locally prized every bit a wound healer. It'sec known equally "Sang Yue" or ikan haruan.

Whenever mortal has an operation done, or an open wound, this soup will be really suitable. Don't think that I take wounds, haha. We drank this but every bit a regular soup for dinner.

Some relatives passed us more or less snakeheads together with I adapted a flathead fish recipe to make this soup. I made this soup twice earlier as well as it'second soo delicious! The master method calls for frying the fish earlier role, merely I chose to rub on roughly crude too bake it. The reason for pre cooking the fish inward oil is that the flesh won't disintergrate that easily when existence boiled.

According to the volume, the benefits are
Corn: good for spleen, nourish yin, reduces blood glucose degree, helps burn fatty

Snakehead Fish Soup amongst Sweet Corn in addition to Huaishan

600gm snakehead fish (Mine has the head, and then it'second heavier, purpose less if it'sec merely the trunk)
400gm corn on the cob
200gm thin pork (I used pork loin)
38gm huaishan
ii.5L H2O
Salt to gustatory modality

ane. Cut fish into large chunks, rub about rock oil over in addition to bake at 200C until the peel looks slightly gold. Rinse fish nether running H2O to remove excess crude oil.
ii. Cut corn into chunks together with pork into large cubes. Rinse huai shan.
3. Bring the H2O to boil too put in everything, except table salt.
iv. Bring it back to a boil too cut down to a simmer for 2 hours.
v. Season amongst table salt together with plough off the heat.
